Defect on arrival (DOA)
In case of any defect on arrival claims, please open a RMA case in Helpdesk or contact MOORnetworks Logistics.
Important note
Buffalo Technology recommends to contact the Buffalo customer‘s support helpdesk in order to avoid unnecessary freight and costs, prior to apply for RMA and send back to distributor or dealer.
Defect within first year of purchase
CASE A
Defect within warranty period – ALL PRODUCTS – Buffalo Switzerland Service Center.
The request is processed according to the RMA type. There are 3 types of RMA:
- Standard
- Advanced Replacement
- TeraStation Advanced Replacement

CASE B
Defect within warranty period – ALL PRODUCTS EXCEPT replaceable parts (s.e. NAS hard drives, power supplies) – MOORnetworks.
If you prefer to handle your RMA request with MOORnetworks (no repair), then please open a RMA case in Helpdesk or contact MOORnetworks AG.
